All in all I have to say I was pretty impressed with this event. Pensacola has really started working hard to get people out and about in the downtown area and from the crowds on Saturday night, I would say they are starting to succeed.

After exploring the streets of good ol' downtown, we headed to Jaco's for some dinner. Jaco's is a new-ish bayfront bar and grill located right on Palafox Marina in downtown Pensacola. My mom had taken me there for lunch a few days earlier and during the daylight you can sit outside and look right out over the bay. It is really beautiful!

The food was great and the company even better. Thanks Jeff for taking all of us ladies out for the evening :)

Meet Bear Baggett. Isn't he adorable?!

As much as Jeff was reluctant about adding another member to their little family, I think he is very happy with his final decision. Just another shining example that wives are always right... right Jeff?? hehe.

And of course little Hayden loved Bear too. Well at least until bear got a little too excited and knocked him over. After that he decided to leave the puppy alone and help Jeff build the doghouse instead. That little Hayden is such a boy.

Evan and Bear... love at first sight.

And these two, well, they are my very best friends! Life just wouldn't be the same without them.

There really is no place like home...
A special HUGE thank you to Larissa and Hayden for making the trip all the way to Florida to hangout with Evan, Ginny and I for the weekend. What a wonderful and unexpected surprise! Also, thanks to Mitch for letting his wife and son come down to see us :) I owe you one for sure.
