Most everyone arrived on Friday evening. We just hung out at the house that night before getting up the next morning for a day of beach and four wheel driving.
A few of the boys had a very big night on Friday, so we decided to go for a short drive that morning while they slept it off. The first thing we do when we get on the beach is lower the air pressure in the tires. Doing this makes it easier to drive on the sand by increasing the surface area of the tire (you know... all of that science stuff).

Once everyone was awake and ready to go, we took off down the beach to Double Island Point and set up the volleyball net while we waited for everyone else to arrive.

After we broke all of the sporting equipment (sorry Nerissa!) and had eaten all of the food, we took off to go four wheel driving on some inland tracks.
The driver of car two... aka the "giggle car".
Poor Max had to deal with me, Nerissa, Emma and Alyson laughing for about 2 hours straight.
It was such a great time though (for the girls anyway, lol).
I guess we missed the "white car" memo...
The end of the track.
To be continued...
